All Terms and conditions as contained
in the Air Way Bill shall be applicable to each and every shipper.
The shipper agrees to the terms and conditions set forth on the
reverse of the Air Way Bill and warrant that the information
contained on the Air Way Bill is true and correct. The shipper
further confirms that the shipment does not contain any cash or
equivalent, gold, silver, drugs or articles restricted under Indian
Postal Act or by the airlines as indicated in the terms and
conditions.
In case the shipment contains anything
of value, insurance of the same by the shipper is recommended. The
company's liability on any shipment is limited to Rs. 500/- at
the maximum for any cause.
The shipper is responsible for proper
and adequate packing of the shipment. The company is not liable for
any loss or damage to the shipment caused by inadequate and
inappropriate packing. It is the responsibility of the shipper to
handover the shipment in fully packed condition as per the
applicable packing standards. The maximum weight of a single packing
should not be more than 25 Kgs.
Any customs, octroi, vat, sales tax,
other duties/taxes/levies as may be applicable on the shipment will
be paid by the shipper or the consignee either at the origin, during
transit or at the destination. |
